It has been quite a journey just to get ready for this trip. In March, we got Green Bean, our Meaner Bean Teardrop trailer. During spring, we planned quite a few weekend trips to get the Green Bean set up perfectly for our family. We tested out all the cool features and acquired all the gear we would need for maximum fun while on adventures. We even had to trade in our beloved Toyota Highlander for a new rig after it overheated on the way to nearby Clear Lake, filling us with doubt that it could get us safely to all the places we are dreaming of exploring.
So now we are loading up Pearl (our new car) and Green Bean and heading on an epic road trip (about 8,200 miles!) around the USA to visit our family and friends out east who we have not been able to see during COVID. It took hours of planning and prep, but we are ready! We are so excited to visit people while seeing some amazing sights and all the natural beauty of our country.
